CoForm ™ large matrix system kit by Directa assists in the placing of composite materials and assisting in creating precise fillings.
Product Features:
- Transparent matrices made of celluloid plastic, so they will not adhere to composite and will speed up class IV restorations.
- Matrixes ready cut for mesial and distal corners of anterior teeth and canines.
- Ideal for forming composite restorations as fractured incisive edges.
- TO USE: Press them onto uncured composite to give restoration the anatomy of a healthy tooth. Finally cure the composite through the clear matrix.
Kit Includes: 128 matrix strips (8 of each size: 11 mesial/distal, 21 mesial/distal, 12 mesial/distal, 22 mesial/distal, 13 mesial/distal, 23 mesial/distal, 31-32 mesial/distal, 41-42 mesial/distal).
Instructions (PDF):
- Compare the size of CoForm to the fractured tooth and then choose the right matrix.
- Apply composite material in the CoForm and press into place with a slight moving motion, so you avoid bubbles.
- Prewedge and insert CoForm in place. If needed, cut the plastic matrix to make adjustments. Prepare the enamel, bevel 0,5-1 mm for a maximal enamel bonding surface. Then etch and bond as usual.
- Light cure through the CoForm matrix. Lastly peel off after curing, correct excess material, shape, and polish to complete the restoration.
