Nitrous Oxide Reservoir Bag

Maintain safe, effective nitrous oxide sedation with this critical replacement reservoir bag. It helps to properly deliver gas and monitor respiratory function during conscious sedation procedures. Nitrous oxide (N2O) reservoir bag holds three liters of air.

During inhalation of sedation, reservoir bag provides patient additional gas should the respirator demands exceeds the gas flow delivered from the nitrous machine. Assuming an airtight seal of the nasal hood and no mouth breathing, the reservoir bag inflates slightly with every exhalation and deflates slightly with each inhalation, permitting the operator to easily determine respiratory rate.
