Macan Radiosurge MC-6A is a high precision dental electrosurgery unit ideal for dealing with delicate and intricate tissue.

Four Modes: CUT, CUT + COAG, COAG, and FULGRATION:

  1. CUT Mode: While using this mode in healthy tissue, there won't be any shrinkage. Producing a continuous flow of RF energy provides a micro-smooth cut with minimal hemostasis.
  2. CUTE + COAG Mode: This wave form results in a blend of 50% cutting and 50% coagulation. This is ideal for posterior gingival troughing before crown and bridge restorations, because it gives access to sub-gingival caries, removes opercula, periocoronal tissue, pulpotomies, gingivectomies, and for gingivoplasty procedures.
  3. COAG Mode: This is highly effective in producing hemostasis in gingival mucosal tissues and then seals off bleeders up to 2mm in diameter without ligation. Indications include soft tissue coagulation after surgical intervention or bleeding (a pulpotomy). This mode is also for sterilization of endo canals, bleaching discolored teeth, and desensitization of cervical tooth margins.
  4. FULGRATION Mode: This option produces a spark that travels through the air gap between the electrode tip and the surface of the tissue. It is the only monopolar electrosurgical waveform, so it can coagulate bleeding coming from the bone.

Specifications:

  • Output Voltage: 500V
  • Operating Frequency: 3.0 mHz +/- 5%
  • Operational Duty Cycle: 10 sec. ON, 20 sec. OFF (not electronically enforced)
