There are many obstacles the world is facing right now, due to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). Stricter measures are being put in place to slow the spread of the disease and the pandomonia it is causing. The FDA released a letter to healthcare providers concerning personal protective equipment (face masks, isolation gown, etc.).
"The FDA’s recommendations are intended to augment, and not intended to replace, specific controls and procedures developed by healthcare organizations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or CDC’s Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) to aid in infection prevention and control."
