Quick Tip Tuesday #86: Dental Lights

Today's quick tip is a commonly asked question among dentists. Like all things, dental equipment needs a repair on occasion. This dentist had a flickering operatory light and wants to learn more about the possible causes and different solutions to fix it on his own.

We offer all of the mentioned items: operatory repair parts and bulbs. Having a multimeter on hand when doing your own dental equipment testing would be a good idea. It can be used for measuring electric current, voltage, and usually resistance (see Practice Tip #25). For other items to have in your dental toolbox, see our recommended list here.
